4 hour course plus course of fire necessary for purchase of regulated firearm in Maryland.

16 hour course of instruction plus full course of fire necessary for anyone wishing to conceal or open carry a handgun in Maryland (does not include DC course) 

For shooters looking to increase knowledge and skill or with specific needs. Private lessons with MAVTAC will increase accuracy, speed, and overall performance. 

Basic shotgun familiarization and handling 

Basic shotgun course, along with course of fire. 10 hours of instruction plus and range time. More in depth than first steps. Includes how to effectively track and engage moving targets. 

Looking to improve your trap, skeet, sporting clays, or five stand score? One on one lessons with professional competitive shotgun shooter and instructor.

Right now MAVTAC is booking courses by appointment only. To confirm your dates MAVTAC requires a 25% deposit of the total course cost. This deposit is non refundable if a student is a no-show or does not cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy. Course must be fully paid for before instruction starts.

Here at MAVTAC we understand that sometimes life gets in the way and plans can change. MAVTAC will allow for students to cancel courses up to 48 hours prior to the start time of their course. You can also reschedule your course up to 48 hours before your start time as well. Failure to cancel or reschedule within the 48 hour cancellation window will result in forfeiture of the deposit, if you make the window you get your money back.

MAVTAC Firearms & Training Academy reserves the right to refuse service to any student for any reason. If our instructors can detect the presence of alcohol or a controlled substance you will be denied entry to the course and your deposit forfeited. We take our training seriously and the safety of our students and instructors will always be the priority!
